Free Agent is a Los Angeles based architecture and design practice dedicated to creating thoughtful and considered spaces for residential, commercial, and cultural clients alike. We work together with clients to translate and distill ideas into actualized projects that are both site specific and uniquely responsive to the needs of its users.

Pil Sun Olivia Ham

After gaining her Master’s degree at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) in 2011, Pil Sun had worked on significant cultural and arts related projects with firms including MAD Architects, Michael Maltzan Architecture and also Foster + Partners. Notable projects include the Harbin Opera House, Moody Center for the Arts, Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and the Steve Jobs Theatre at Apple Park.
The focus on public projects cultivated her interest in finding ways to use the power of design to advance the visionary social agendas of forward thinking clients in the physical world. She established Free Agent in 2021 and is licensed in the States of California and Michigan.
